For syslogs, whereas Kiwi's free version is more limited (only shows 5000 lines)
Here are some ideas

use earlier Kiwi like 9.2x

This discussion mentions many candidates, like Splunk etc

However, Splunk is bett used, so some users say to gather info (say by kiwi) and then have splunk explore it.

More suggestions:
    gather syslog
        by TheDude -> spiceworks ->tickets to Admin
or
     Kiwi -> splunk (for sorting, reporting and browsing the data)
