Keep getting application faults? Do you have HP printer drivers, particularly host-based ones? Yikes, your options are few. (Aside from disconnecting and uninstalling the HP pritner drivers>)
How about mso.dll failing and it seems to be due to an addin?

...and from that a deleting registry entry cleared up the problem.
