First, the important one to make is a
RECOVERY DRIVE
This would be put on a USB stick, usually 16GB will do it.

use thsi if your system won't boot period.
Make by searching for recdisc
or, it is in Control Panel, Backup and Restore, and on the left "Create a system repair disc”

  • Most of the time, you won’t really need a recovery drive or system repair disc. If Windows fails to start normally twice in a row, it automatically boots from your recovery partition on the third restart, and then loads the advanced startup options.
