Keep Handy of Office files not opening from Explorer

The fix is as follows:
Open regedit (via Run/Start)
Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\excel.exe\shell\open\command
The line will reference Office 15, change the 15 to 16 and close the registry.
Be sure within the Default Programs you make the default program is set to Excel 2016 and not just Excel.
